NPL Playoffs: Bendel Insurance Go 20 Games Unbeaten After Draw Vs Sunshine

Bendel Insurance recorded their second draw at the ongoing NPL Super Six playoffs after a 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars on Monday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Completesports.com reports.

The result means Bendel Insurance are yet to taste defeat this season, as they have extend their unbeaten run to 20 games (last five being draws).

Bendel Insurance (two points) and Sunshine Stars (one point) are now in fourth and fifth positions respectively in the six-team table after two rounds of games played.

Divine Nwachukwu broke the deadlock just seven minutes into the game.

However, in the 62nd minute Ekerette Udom equalised for Sunshine Stars.

Action will resume on Wednesday in the NPL Super Six playoffs with Bendel Insurance facing Enyimba, Remo vs Sunshine and Lobi Stars vs Rivers United.
