From the moment Nike unveiled the design, Nigeria’s World Cup kit was a hit. The kit was so beloved that it hit a record three million pre-orders, selling out in minutes following its release. One year later, fans are getting another chance to own the kit, as it’s back on the market.

Although the World Cup ended a year ago and Nike is currently designing new merchandise for Nigeria, we understand why this kit is being released again: People are still very much interested in the design, and it’s not hard to see why.

The kit is basically a viral sensation, establishing itself as a veritable style staple and even managing to snag a nomination for the Beazley Design of the Year award, alongside big brands like Gucci, Burberry and Fenty Beauty.

We have a feeling that the kit will become a collector’s item in the future. So, you can understand why we’re excited by this news, particularly the fact that fans can actually get it for a price that’s lower than the initial price.
