Anyanya Udongwo, a Nigerian Medical Doctor and proud son of Ibesit Nnung Ikot in Akwa Ibom State’s Oruk Anam Local Government Area, won the 10th The Voice Lithuania Contest and a publishing agreement with Universal Music Group in remote Northeastern Europe.

The Voice Lithuania (Lietuvos balsas) is a Lithuanian reality show that is part of the international syndication of The Voice.
He defeated the other nine contenders at the Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas to win the coveted championship, which drew a record-breaking crowd.
Udongwo was born and raised in Nigeria and moved to Lithuania from Ukraine when the war broke out.
The medical practitioner said in his acceptance speech;
“I am deeply grateful to the Lithuanians for their support and for the warm welcome they extended to me.”

He spent almost 12 years in Ukraine studying medicine. Udongwo claimed that singing was just a hobby for him – he sung in church and afterwards in numerous projects – but after graduating, he discovered that music was his actual destiny.
