Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea has threatened to sue the guys behind the leaking of her nude photos from a 2016 ‘GQ magazine photoshoot on social media.

The music star expressed her dismay at which her photos from a GQ photo shoot in Australia years got leaked. According to her, she would be holding the person or people involved responsible for such an act.

This is coming after Iggy came under intense fire over the weekend when the photos got leaked. She was dragged on social media which resulted in her deactivating her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

She, however, activated one of the accounts and released a statement which she later deleted. In her statement, she revealed the photos were taken back in 2016 and didn’t make the cut. She also revealed that she never gave anyone permission to release the nude photos.

For Iggy, she feels blindsided, embarrassed, violated and a whirlwind of other emotions over the invasion of privacy.

“I fully intend on finding out where the leak originated from and pressing criminal charges in regards to this. It’s important to me that someone actually is held accountable for their actions & the way it impacts my life,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, the photographer who shot Iggy for GQ Australia’s cover that year has reacted to the leak. He says his photos were stolen from him and published without his permission. He added that an investigation is underway and vows that the culprit will be prosecuted.
