Mayorkun Teams Up With Oladips For Thankful New Song, ‘Places’

Since the year started, we’ve had several reports of awful news throughout the world, which has left many of us in a state of despair. A great escape from this, however, has been uplifting music, which Mayorkun just contributed to with his latest feature on Oladips‘ new song, “Places“. 

On “Places”, both artists reflect on the kind of music they want to create, concluding that they only want to release songs that will take them far in life. They opine that while other musicians might only be interested in churning out bangers, they will be more thoughtful with their work. 

Mayorkun starts off the song with his incredible verse, and he does most of the heavy lifting throughout the song, also handling the fantastic hook. The song generally benefits from it’s cool and mellow Amazing Sleek-produced beat, which gives Mayorkun a lot of room to shine.
