Two Suspected Kidnappers Arrested In Ondo

Security operatives including hunters have arrested two suspected kidnappers in the Akoko area of Ondo state.

One of the two suspects was nabbed inside the forest in Ikaram Akunu axis while efforts were on to rescue two farmers who were kidnapped last week.

He reportedly appeared as someone with mental disorder but spoke fluent English during questioning about his activities in the area.

When searched, ATM cards, soap box, black dresses and black underwears were discovered on him.

A source told The Nation that the second suspect was arrested at Ajowa Akoko and an army identity card was found on him

Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the arrest and also said they’ve intensified effort to rescue the two farmers.
