The duo of Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Osimhen will lead the U-23 Eagles attack against Libya in the second leg of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifying fixture at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, reports Completesports.com.

Imama Amapakabo’s charges will look to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.

Awoniyi featured in the first leg last week Wednesday in Tunisia, while Osimhen is one of the four players drafted to the team from the Super Eagles.

They will be joined in attack by Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze who put in a fine performance in the first leg.

Francis Uzoho has replaced Adamu Abubakar who was in goal during the first leg and was red carded in the first half after handling the ball outside the box.

Super Eagles call-ups Valentine Ozornwafor and Chiedozie will form a brand-new central defensive partnership in place of Stephen Manyo and Joshua Akpudje, who began the first match last week.

Lobi Stars rightback John Lazarus has also been dropped to the bench after a below-par outing in Tunisia.

Nigeria won the last edition of the competition four years ago in Senegal edging out Algeria 2-1 in the final.

Egypt will host the competition in November this year.
