Adepoju Thumbs Up Flying Eagles For Picking World Cup Ticket

Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has praised the Flying Eagles for securing a place at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup billed for Poland, reports Completesports.com.
The Flying Eagles edged out hosts Niger 1-0 in a keenly contested Group A clash at the Seyni Kountche Stadium on Friday to also booked their passage in to the last four.
After a barren first half performance, the seven-time African champion broke the resilience of the home team with Ibrahim Alhassan scoring the winning goal in the 73rd minute.
“Big ups to the Flying Eagles for picking a ticket to the 2019 U20 FIFA World Cup in Poland. Well done boys ?,”Adepoju, a member of Flying Eagles squad that came second at the 1989 edition of the FIFA U -20 World Cup in Saudi Arabia tweeted.
Paul Aigbogun ‘ s men will battle either Ghana or Mali for a place in the final of the competition.
Flying Eagles will be making a return to the World Cup after missing out of the 2017 edition staged in South Korea.
South Africa and Senegal are the other African countries who have made it to Poland 2019 billed to hold from 23 May to 15 June 2019.
