Coronavirus: Kaduna Govt Records 14 New Cases.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai-led government has announced 14 new cases of Coronavirus in the state.

The development was revealed in a statement released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

According to the breakdown of the recorded cases, Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government has nine cases, Kawo in Kaduna North Local Government has four, while Kinkinau in Kaduna South LGA recorded a case.

The Kaduna State noted it has adopted measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

The Commissioner for Health, Amina Mohammed Baloni, noted that part of the measures includes washing of hands, use of sanitizers, wearing of face masks and adhering to social distancing rules.

She called on people of Kaduna State to report any suspected cases around them to the government for quick medical attention.

Meanwhile, residents of the state are allowed to go out only on Tuesdays and Saturdays temporary lockdown days for the restocking of food items.
