Rotimi Amaechi, the Honorable Minister of Transportation, has countered claim of him being caught in an audio conversation saying that President Buhari’s administration has been printing money to run his government.
The former Governor of Rivers state and now minister of transport in reaction to this claims, through his media aide Taiye Elebiyo-Edeni on Tuesday May 4, told members of the public to disregard the clip as fake.
“I have never headed any financial institution in the country and therefore did not qualify as an authority in the issues that concerns printing of money into the economy.
“I advise Nigerians who want information on printing of money to find out from the appropriate agency and not circulate false statement to gain cheap publicity.”
