Buhari Extends Gradual Easing Of COVID-19 Lockdown By Two Weeks

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has extended the gradual easing of the lockdown by two weeks.

The PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, announced this on Monday during the briefing of the members of the task force in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Meanwhile, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari has said there would be no nationwide address by the president today.

Recall that Aliyu Sani, the national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, had disclosed that President Buhari will address Nigerians on Monday (today) when he appeared on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
