A woman in her 70s has slumped and died while on her way to church at Opobo junction, Ogbor Hill, Aba, Abia state, on Sunday.
The woman, who was wearing a face mask, fell down as she was walking and died before she could receive medical attention. The police later came to evacuate her.
Meanwhile, the police had a face off with hundreds of athletics observing their weekly Sunday morning exercise in the area against the restrictions put in place by the government.
The aggrieved sportsmen insisted that Coronavirus is a scam and should not be used as an excuse to stop them from training.
