An American man identified as Richard Stewart has flown all the way from Hawaii, United States, to Enugu State, Nigeria, to tie the knot with his heartthrob, Precious Destiny Stewart, whom he meet on social media.

Precious, who hails from Ukehe in Igboetiti local government area of the state, wedded her American husband in the presence of family and friends at a lavish ceremony held in Cubana, Enugu.

Sharing their love story and wedding pictures, Precious revealed the she met Richard on social media.

According to the bride, she don’t usually pay attention to a message sent to her from a foreign account because it seem suspicious and fake.

When Richard sent her a ‘hi’ message, she didn’t reply at first, but later decided to play along.

As time went on their conversation with each other became interesting and their love grew from there.

According to her, they ‘dated’ for 3 years online, before Richard finally decided to fly down to Enugu, to propose and marry her.

After the wedding, Precious said: “He is such a happy soul. I can’t thank God enough for what he has done for me. Getting married to him is the sweetest thing that has ever happened in my life. He is ready to go down to earth for my sake. If not him, nobody else. May good lord continue to bless our union forever. Amen.”
