Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the report of President Bola Tinubu’s order for the full implementation of the Oronsaye report.
According to Sani, the President should be careful in the aspect where thousands of federal civil servants are likely to lose their jobs.
Recall that President Tinubu, on Monday, ordered the full implementation of Stephen Oronsaye’s report of the Presidential Committee on the Rationalisation and Restructuring of Federal Government Parastatals, Commissions, and Agencies.
Shehu Sani, while reacting to the development which has now generated discourse in the polity, hailed the President for the order, saying he hopes it would cut the cost of governance and harmonise federal ministries, departments and agencies.
The former lawmaker on his X account on Monday night noted that job losses among thousands of federal civil servants were imminent.
According to him, “The Oronsaye report has gathered dust for over a decade. It’s commendable that now it shall see the light of the day.”
