Davido has been on a seemingly endless collaborative roll for the past two years, teaming up with a long list of both local and international artists. Now, he’s taken his talents to the UK, linking up with Django23 and Big Narstie for their catchy new single, “Control“.

Against a mellow beat, Django 23 and Big Narstie rap about how great their lives are, while Davido steals the show with a catchy hook. The afropop star’s sound has always been malleable, allowing him to shine on different genres, explaining why he fits in so well on “Control”.

For the Twitch-directed music video, all three stars link up in a beach setting, where they show off their riches — from flashy jewellery to expensive cars — while surrounded by bikini-clad women. It’s by no means a revolutionary music video, but it certainly fits the song’s vibe.
