In what will come across as a really startling development, some police officers who were on routine stop and search duty have allegedly killed a man.
They allegedly shot dead an unidentified young man in Asaba, Delta State.
Details as to what led to the killing were still sketchy at the time of this report.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe in a text message confirmed the report.
His response reads, “Confirmed. No details.”
However, angry youths have taken over the town TO protest alleged killings by the Police.
There is tension in the town as youths matched along major streets in search of Policemen to vent their anger.
