Three allegedly killed as APC, PDP supporters clash in Ibadan

No fewer than three people have reportedly lost their lives as a result of a clash between supporters of two political parties in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The three people reportedly lost their lives when supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed.

The incident occurred at Ile-Tuntun area of Ibadan South East Local Government Area in Ibadan.

DAILY POST gathered that three people lost their lives while about 13 people were seriously injured during the clash that occurred Thursday evening.

Our correspondent also learnt that some motorcycles and vehicles were damaged.

It was also learnt that the dead bodies of those who lost their lives have been evacuated to morgue.

Those who sustained varying degrees of injuries have been moved to various hospitals to receive medical attention.

Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident to journalists.

He said that the case is under investigation.

“The case is under investigation as we speak, further update as regards the clash will be communicated accordingly”.
