Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1, declared the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Tinubu, as the president-elect.

The former Lagos State governor scored 8,805,420 votes to defeat his counterparts, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the tight race.

He urged the former governor of Anambra State to continue with his genuine intention for Nigeria adding he would not relent in his support for him.

He wrote: “From the very day you honoured my open invitation to speak with Nigerians concerning the 2023 elections, I became proud of you and what you represent.

“Till this very minute, you still make a lot of people feel so proud of your courage, handwork, ambition, and plans for a better Nigeria. Continue to be honest with your genuine intentions for our country, Nigeria.

“No matter what you do in your life. Just know that i will always be supporting you.”
