
The official result of the 2023 presidential election has been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday.
From the result announced by INEC, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu emerged winner after securing 8,794,726 votes, to defeat his closest contenders in the race from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who made the second position with 6,984,520 votes.
Labour Party (LP) flag bearer, Peter Obi came third with 6,101,533 votes.
