Twitter User Accuses Police Of Demanding To Investigate Case Of A Lady Who Was R*ped And Infected With HIV

The Twitter user disclosed that they even had to pay the sum of N5,000 before a letter was printed out and another N10,000 before it could be forwarded for approval.

A Twitter user has taken to the microblogging platform to accuse the Nigeria Police Force of demanding N100, 000 to investigate the incident of a female friend who was s3xually assaulted and infected with HIV.

In a series of Tweets, @AS_Ahmadu, alleged that after the incident on Ibadan street in Kaduna state, a formal complaint was made to the police, and at every interval, they were made to pay some money for the case to be investigated.

The Twitter user disclosed that they even had to pay the sum of N5,000 before a letter was printed out and another N10,000 before it could be forwarded for approval.

It was also alleged that the police demanded the sum of N100,000 to commence an investigation into the case.
