Peter Obi is the light, APC represents darkness – Babachir Lawal

Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary of the Government of the Federation, has announced that he is supporting the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the upcoming February 25 election. He said he chose Obi after recognizing him as the “light” in comparison to the “darkness” represented by the old system of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Lawal made this statement on Channels Television’s “The 2023 Verdict” program. He explained that he saw the light and left the darkness, claiming that every Nigerian has come to realize that the current situation can no longer continue.

Regarding the President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration, Lawal claimed that it failed to function properly and didn’t meet expectations.
