Rotimi Amaechi, former minister of transportation, is in Adamawa state for a rally to mobilise support for Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The rally is also the governorship campaign flag-off of Aisha Binani, a serving senator, who is also the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling party in the state.
Amaechi was a presidential hopeful of the ruling party but he lost in the primary election which was held in June 2022.
Since the presidential campaign rallies of the APC commenced, the ex-minister has not been seen attending any of the events.
