A court in Russia on Tuesday, ordered the arrest in absentia of two Ukrainian ministers after they were accused of violating Russia’s territorial integrity.
The court issued the order after receiving a request from the FSB security service to arrest in absentia Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova.
The spokeswoman for Moscow’s Lefortovsky district court, Anastasia Romanova, was cited to have said: “The request has been granted.”
Both ministers have been on Russia’s wanted list.
