The Governor of Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday, met the Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye.
The meeting held amidst growing anxiety over reports of a frosty relationship between the Executive and Legislature, over the Governor’s Executive Orders especially as they relate to the repeal of the State’s Name, Anthem and Appellation.
Sources hinted that the Speaker and his colleagues called at the Governor’s residence in Ede, to congratulate him on his inauguration and assumption of office.
Adeleke and Owoeye were also said to have discussed matters relating to the strengthening of the relationship between the two arms of government.
