A spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye has reacted to a gaffe by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu during a rally on Saturday in Lagos State.

Melaye took to his Twitter page where he shared the video of the viral gaffe in which Tinubu while addressing a crowd of supporters during the campaign rally, told them to get their ‘APV”, “APC” to vote for him.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Tinubu in the video repeatedly asked the mammoth crowd if they love him before telling them to get their ‘APV, APC’ to vote for him.

“Do you love me? Do you love me? Go and take your APV…APC and you must vote,” Tinubu said during the rally.

Apparently, the former Governor was trying to say PVC but Melaye in his reaction claimed Tinubu is suffering from advanced dementia and wished the APC presidential flagbearer a quick recovery.

The former Kogi Senator wrote: “Why are these people wicked to this man? He called PVC, APV and corrected himself by calling it APC. Advance Dementia leleyi oooo. Get well soon Tinubu. SDM”

Tinubu has been caught on camera in recent times committing such gaffes while speaking at public events, sparking suggestions in some quarters that that is the reason his handlers have not allowed him to participate in debates and town hall meetings not organized by his camp.
