Video Of Kidnapper Who Killed Businessman After Collecting N1m Ransom In Kogi State, Confesses

The police in Kogi state have arrested a kidnapper who collected ransom  and later killed the victim.

The victim, Babatunde Orogu age 34 was kidnapped to an unknown location around March 2022.

It was gathered that his phone SIM was used to negotiate the ransom twice to the tune of One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) at different locations.

Operation of the CIRRS swung into action with the help of analysis, tracked down one Abdul Shaibu 32 of age from Okpachala, Kogi state, whom the victim’s phone was traced to his possession and apprehended him.

He made a confessional statement and admitted being a member of kidnapping gang, he further led the operatives of CIRRS to Lokoja in Kogi State where One Musa Araba “m” aged 40 years and One Ugbede Abdul “m” aged 38 years were arrested and they all confessed independently to have taken part in the kidnapped saga while ransom was collected.

They further narrated that the said Abdul Shaibu “m” who also opened up to have worked as a labourer under the victim suggested the killing of the victim.

They later used sharp knife and slaughtered him on his neck till he gave up the ghost.

Meanwhile, the operatives are on top gear to recover the corpse and their operational weapons.
