Tension took over the area as hoodlums invaded the palace of Oloto of Oto Awori Kingdom, Oba Aina Kuyamiku.
Vehicles belonging to the monarch were destroyed, while some shops in the area were burnt.
A combined team of military and police operatives has beefed up security in the area.
