A member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Nnamdi Okafor, has di€d after he reportedly slumped while holidaying at a Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The majority leader, who is representing Awka South Constituency 1, was said to have collapsed in the early hours of Wednesday, August 24, and was confirmed dead hours later in a hospital.
Okafor, a second term legislator, came into the State Assembly in 2015 on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
He is a United States of America trained pharmacist, and runs a pharmaceutical company, with diagnostic services.
