In the light of this, prominent members of the ruling party in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, All Progressives Congress (APC), and some of the concerned citizens of the country have been calling on the personalities of former Lagos State Governor and a National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his political beneficiary who is also the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, to vie for the President of the country, come 2023.

Unfortunately, these two prominent political stalwarts are from the South West geopolitical zone, the same political party and the same political clique. However, the perceived presidential ambitions of these two political stalwarts who are yet yo make an official declarations of their ambitions may, definitely, redefine the politics of the northern part of the country.

Noticeably, some northern politicians who may be desperate to pick the vice presidential ticket of whoever emerge as the presidential candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), may decide to go the way of endorsing Professor Yemi Osinbajo because his candidature may favor their ambitions, religiously.

Besides, Professor Yemi Osinbajo may be, surely, considered as a competent, reliable, formidable, gentle and intelligent politician who could be considered as a potential presidential material for any political party, in as much as the politics of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is concerned.

However, majority of the Northern politicians may take a strong ground to support the perceived presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu depending in the fact that he is, arguably, the strongest politician who the party can present, in the course of easily retaining the presidential seat by All Progressives Congress (APC), beyond 2023.

Besides, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a politician who has peculiar administrative background, political goodwill, executive manpower, dogged personality; versatile, formidable and agile political base that could be capitalized on by the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), to retain power beyond 2023.
