Nigeria‘s leading man, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Borno state on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

The President will be visiting Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to commission multiple projects embarked upon and completed by the Zulum administration.

The state governor, Babagana Umara Zulum has called on citizens to come out to welcome the President.

Governor Zulum said President Muhammadu Buhari has greatly supported Borno State and made sacrifices so that the people can live in peace, harmony and progress.

He said, President Buhari had spent more than fifty Million Dollars to generate stable and sustainable power and energy for the people of Borno State.

While briefing members of the press in Maiduguri, the governor said that if the Maiduguri Gas power plant is completed in March, people of Borno will enjoy stable power supply for good 24 hours.

The governor also commended Buhari for spending millions of Dollars to purchase weapons and other equipment for the military and other security operatives to secure farmlands for farmers to cultivate their crops across the state.
