Alhaji Lawal Adamu Usman, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and senatorial contender for Kaduna Central in the 2019 elections, has expressed his disgust with the killing of hundreds of people by bandits in attacks on multiple towns in Kaduna State’s Giwa Local Government Area.
He stated that the recent Sunday assault, in which many people were killed, was completely unacceptable and urged the relevant authorities to take the necessary actions to prevent a repeat in any region of the state.
Alhaji Usman, speaking to DAILY POST in Kaduna on Monday, said the escalation of the security situation in Kaduna State was owing to the state government’s lightness and condescension in managing the situation under Nasir El-rufai.
He believes that every community in Kaduna State and everywhere should reinvigorate their collective resolve to put an end to senseless killings, emphasizing that this is the finest approach to assist in alleviating the suffering of the afflicted families.
“I share the anguish of the bereaved and displaced families, as well as the entire inhabitants of the devastated villages of Ruheya, Kauran Pawa, Marke, and Idasu Gari,” he said.
He said there was an apparent lack of expressed empathy on the part of the administration, and he urged people to pray for God’s help because the magnitude of the horrific attacks and destructions is beyond human comprehension and demands supernatural intervention.
He chastised the government and security personnel for not going after the deadly bandits’ hideouts and for responding slowly to distress cries from vulnerable areas.
