Lami Philips revealed as daughter of Dowen College owner

Information available to National Daily reveals that singer, Lami Philips Gbadamosi is the daughter of Chief Olumide Philips, owner of embattled Dowen College in Lekki area of Lagos.

As his daughter, Lami is the Director of Students Affairs at the school where the 12 year old, Sylvester Oromoni was beaten to death by his seniors for not joining a cult in the school.

The actress, song-writer and singer, has kept mute since Sylvester Oromoni’s death.

Her action has led to her being called out by many Nigerians and celebrities who believe she should say the truth about the circumstances that led to Sylvester’s death.

Her celebrity friends such as Omawunmi, Banky W and Adesua Etomi, Debola Williams, Tiwa Savage have all been called out also for not lending their voices to the unfortunate incident.

Lami who was not comfortable for being called out has deleted her Instagram page while her husband, Labo Gbadamosi has kept his Instagram page under lock and key.

Recall that a few days ago, Sylvester Oromoni’s cousin, Perrison dragged Dowen college after the 12 year old boy passed on as a result of the maltreatment he got from his seniors in school.

Many celebrities such as Tonto Dikeh, Ubi Franklin, Kenneth Okonkwo, Funke Akindele-Bello and a hosts of other Celebraties have been calling for justice over the untimely death of Sylvester Oromoni.
