The Governor gave the instruction to security agencies when he received the students of College of Agriculture and Animal Science Bakura, who were freed by their abductors in the early hours of Friday, saying that taking the decision became necessary considering the rate at which insecurity has ravaged the state currently.
Matawalle noted that the new security measures put in place are to allow for the security operatives to be able to carry out their constitutional responsibility of securing lives and properties of the people of the state.
The Governor however warned that the security operatives should ensure full enforcement of the directive and insisted that his government would not take it lightly with any security operative who compromises in the implementation of the new order.
He assured that his administration would not relent in its effort to ensure peace and security of lives and properties.
