Whitemoney
Whitemoney, a Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, has revealed his reason for not having a university degree.
In a conversation, monitored by our correspondent on Wednesday, day 18 of the show, Whitemoney told JMK that he doesn’t have a degree because he didn’t have the opportunity to go to the university.
The discussion ensued as the duo got to know more about themselves. Along the line, the issue of marriage surfaced and Whitemoney said that when it comes to marriage, he doesn’t care about the tribe but he wants a smart and educated woman.
He said, “I want a smart woman because I didn’t go to school. I am smart but I didn’t go to school. I don’t want a situation whereby my children will ask me about their assignments and I’ll be lost.
“When they come, I’ll tell them ‘go and meet your mother’. My own is to make money. I don’t know how to solve maths.”
When JMK asked him about his family, he revealed that he has two brothers and no sister, adding that his siblings are ‘big men’ who have so many certifications.
“Any degree you want to talk about, they have them. As for me, as I managed to finish my NECO, I said, ‘To God be the glory’, Whitemoney said.
JMK then asked how he was able to escape going to school like his brothers.
Whitemoney answered, “I didn’t escape it, I just didn’t have an opportunity to go. That’s just it. But it didn’t stop my limit. It didn’t stop me from achieving things.
“I’m well outspoken if I want to speak. I speak it without any ‘comma’. I write too. That’s the basic thing. Every other thing is extra. I pay you to do it.”
