Deji Adeyanju, a Nigerian activist, has assured that the Department of State Services, DSS, has not killed Nnamdi Kanu, pro-Biafra agitator.

Adeyanju said though DSS has not killed Kanu, it has subjected him to inhumane treatment.

In a tweet, the convener of Concerned Nigerian, urged lawyers of the agitator to insist on Kanu’s transfer to the correctional facility in Kuje.

He wrote: “Nnamdi Kanu is not dead or killed by DSS but they are subjecting him to inhumane & degrading treatment. This is why his lawyers must insist he should be transferred to the Correctional Centre in Kuje.”

DSS had on Monday failed to produce the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in court.

This led to speculations that Kanu may have been killed by the secret police.

IPOB, however, insisted that Kanu’s lawyer and family members be granted access to him dead or alive.
