Hundreds of women, including parents of kidnapped Bethel Baptist School pupils, blocked the main Kachia Highway in Maraban Rido on Monday to protest their children’s constant kidnapping.
This followed the kidnapping of kids from Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna on Monday morning.
According to NEWS DIRECT, the women erected logs of wood on the road at 3 p.m., obstructing traffic.
However, at 3:05 p.m., a military convoy came on the area and reopened the route to commuters.
