Armed policemen take over Ojota, Lagos ahead of Yoruba nation rally [PHOTOS]

Ahead of the Yoruba national rally scheduled to hold in Lagos State today, the Nigerian Police and other security agencies have taken over Ojota in Kosofe Local Government Area of the State.

The rally which is expected to take off shortly, was scheduled to commence from Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, Ojota, Lagos where the protesters were urged to convene.

NEWS DIRECT reports that the street was deserted on Saturday morning as armed security operatives were seen moving around the area.
