Diamond ‘m’ (surname unknown) a.k.a FOWLBOY, a notorious armed robbery suspect who had been terrorizing residents of the area and its environs, was gunned down by a combined team of policemen and vigilantes in the Sapele area of Delta State.

According to NewsDirect, the deceased was shot and killed during a gunfight.

This comes as three more members of the robbery gang escaped with bullet wounds in Sapele’s Amukpe axis.

The suspect was also found with one locally made cut-to-size gun, a military camouflage sweater, and seven different phones.

During a robbery operation, the deceased suspect and three others were discovered in the home of one man (name withheld) in Amukpe Sapele.

The cops were alerted and quickly dispatched to the scene, where the armed robbers engaged them in a gun battle.

During the course of the operation, the police shot and injured a notorious armed robber, who was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead by the on-duty doctor.

In a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the report.

“Serious effort is being made with a view to arresting the other fleeing members of the gang,” the Police Image maker said.
