Nigerian Special Forces are said to have arrested scores of Ambazonians near the Ikom border town, causing tension and panic along the Nigerian-Cameroonian border.

According to the Biafra NationsLeague, BNL, the Forces also apprehended General Black Mamba, a prominent commander of the Ambazonia separatist forces.

The security agencies are said to be carrying out the arrest after the Ambazonians attacked Nigeria securities and collecting their guns.

BNL, in a statement signed by its Deputy National Leader and Head of Operations BBs Media, Ebuta Akor Takon, said it has directed it’s members at land borders of Cameroon especially those of Ejagham extraction to suspend any cross border dealings with Southern Cameroons until situation is calm.

Recall that BNL, operating in the Bakassi Peninsula, had issued a quit notice to companies operating under Nigeria in the Bakassi peninsula.

The group alleged that Nigeria gets 60percent of the oil in the region and uses the money to “sponsor” the Nigerian military against secessionist.

A BNL commander alias ‘Aso Rock’ accused the federal government of “killing armless pro-Biafra supporters in Imo State and Rivers State”.

The native of Bakassi stated that Nigeria no longer had rights over the area since its territorial ownership was ceded to Cameroon.
