Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji,  in collaboration with the Nigerian Air Force on Saturday rescued a teacher and three of the students abducted at the Federal Government College, Birnin Yawuri, Kebbi State.

The troops also killed one bandit and recovered nine motorcycles and four handsets from other fleeing bandits.

This was contained in an update by the Director of Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu, on Sunday.

He said, “One teacher and three students were rescued yesterday (Saturday) at Makuku, in the ongoing search-and-rescue operation. The troops also killed one bandit and recovered nine motorcycles and four handsets from the fleeing bandits.
