Nigerians React As Ghana Becomes Twitter’s Headquarters For Africa

In a tweet, Twitter’s co-founder and CEO, Jack Dorsey, confirmed the company’s presence on the continent.

He said “Twitter is now present on the continent. Thank you Ghana and Nana Akufo-Addo”

Nana Akufo-Addo disclosed in his answer that he had a virtual meeting with Jack on April 7, 2021.

He also announced that the headquarters for Twitter’s Africa operations will be in Ghana.

“The choice of Ghana as HQ for Twitter’s Africa operations is excellent news. Gov’t and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country.”

Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their reactions with the new growth.
