Fire Razes Another Market In Katsina
There was a fire outbreak at a market in Funtua, Katsina State on Friday, leading to the loss of properties worth millions of Naira.
This is happening barely two weeks after the Katsina Central Market was gutted to the ground by a yet to be investigated fire incident, destroying shops and properties also worth millions.
As at the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire outbreak was yet to be ascertained.
However, there are speculations that the fire may have originated from the second-hand clothing section of the market or the area where other fairly used items are sold in the market.
Funtua LGA is the headquarters of Katsina South senatorial district popularly referred to as Karaduwa Zone and it is the second most populated local government in Katsina State.
