The singer is one of the judges for the music show’s sixth season alongside DJ Sose and Obi Asika.

But during Sunday’s edition of the show, the 35-year-old songwriter, whose real name is Oluwaseyi Odedere, had slammed the aspiring artiste after he had showcased his presentation.

Shay had told the teenager that he should not have auditioned for the show in the first place, adding that he “can not make money being a singer.”

The singer has since provoked a plethora of mixed reactions on Twitter with a number of users expressing their reservations over the way she passed her verdict on the teenager.

One upcoming artiste should never insult another upcoming artiste in such a manner,” Dr Olufunmilayo wrote.
