The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Saturday said Nigeria would continue to look up to former President Olusegun Obasanjo for wisdom and statesmanship.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement, said the President made the remark in his birthday message to Obasanjo.
The statement was titled “President Buhari felicitates with former President Obasanjo at 84.”

The statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari felicitates with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
“On behalf of the government of Nigeria, President Buhari wishes the former President, who has served the country with loyalty and huge dedication, continued good health and happiness.
“President Buhari said the nation will continue to look up to the former President for wisdom and statesmanship.
