The Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, Mariam Yusuf, had confirmed the incident, narrating that the journalist and the children were kidnapped in their residence at the Arab Road, Kubwa, an outskirt of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The PPRO disclosed that the kidnappers also attacked Nnodim’s neighbour, Mrs. Faith Gbeyide, a widow and absconded with her two sons along the base of a hill in the isolated zone of Arab road.
It was highlighted that the kidnappers, said to be five strange men had climbed the fence into the residence of the victims, being in the compound, they forced them to open their doors.
The PPRO said the FCT Command has commenced a rescue operation in search of the victims.
