The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has been hit by internal conflicts culminating into the emergence of two factions battling for the leadership of the group. The two emergent factions with their respective chairmen, have been holding meetings at different locations, each chairman assuming the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association.
It was gathered that nine months after the election of the State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Bauchi State, the group developed cracks that created two factions struggling for the state chairman.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association conflicts was said to be led by the former State Chairman and the former Secretary, both battling for recognition as the group’s chairman in Bauchi State.
Alhaji Sadiq Ibrahim was identified as the winner of the election for the state chairman in Bauchi. He was said to be accusing the National Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of being behind the conflict in the group, in pursuit of parochial interest.
Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association former chairman in Bauchi State, Abdullahi Maishanu, had chided Sadiq Ibrahim over the accusation of the national chairman, saying the accusation is baseless.
Abdullahi Maishanu is claiming he won the election and is, therefore, chairman if the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Bauchi State.
