A man took to Twitter to narrate how himself and other on-lookers stood by and watched as a female passenger was mercilessly beaten by a conductor.
The Twitter user narrating the tale said the incident happened at Anthony bus stop in Lagos state.
He said the woman hit the conductor on the head with her food flask and he retaliated by beating her up, but no one came to the woman’s defence because she hit first.
His narration received mixed reactions. Some said the passersby were wrong for doing nothing, even though the woman was at fault. Others said the woman needed to be taught that actions have consequences.
