KanyiDaily recalls that Charly Boy had taken to his Instagram page to recounted how he struggled to come to terms with his daughter homosexuality.

According to him, when his daughter revealed that she was a lesbian in 2016, it wasn’t easy for him to accept even though he had openly supported LGBT campaigns.

The veteran singer said he tried not to overreact when his daughter spoke about her sexuality because he didn’t want to strain their relationship.

After several months, he finally came to accept that fact that his daughter is a gay following his determination to win this new challenge that life had thrown at him.

He added: “As a matter of fact, I now look back and find that I am grateful for the experience of having a gay (lesbian) child. All I want for my princess are love, happiness and success.

But in a swift reaction on her Twitter page, Dewy described her father as a hypocrite and accused him of neglecting her after she revealed her homosexuality.

Dewy accused her father of kicking her out of the home since 2017 and her hasn’t bothered to find out if she was dead or alive. She also said doesn’t “pick my call” or care about her wellbeing.

The US-based lady also mocked him of being “father of the year” only on social media and putting gratification from strangers first before his family.

She went on to share a screenshot of a message where her father referred to her and another child as “useless children” and said that his life would be better without them because they are not the type of children he wants.

“Gaslighting at its finest. It’s quite unfortunate that my life is nothing but content. I just can’t wrap my head around the hypocrisy. All this for a drop of clout, attention and praise from strangers just to feed your ego,” she wrote in a thread.

”Honestly I was going to just free this situation because I’m used to this toxicity and mentally I’m tired but after seeing this i can’t stomach this pretentious behaviour anymore because on a normal level this man no Dey even pick my call.

“2017 I got kicked out of the house and was damn near homeless and if not for my friend I wouldn’t have even had food or Shelter!

“Fortunately for me, I had a return ticket to come back to Atlanta, I moved back here with zero dollars not even knowing where I was going to live or where my next meal was going to come from! I was literally living couch to couch and lord knows how tirelessly I worked so I could have my own stability!

“You didn’t even know if your daughter was dead or alive anything could have happened to me. But on social media, you are the father of the year. You have literally put Instant gratification from strangers before your own blood.”

KanyiDaily recalls that as Charly Boy had also revealed that his late mother, Margaret Oputa, was a witch who had mystical powers.
