Eromosele Adene
The sister of #EndSARS front-liner Eromosele Adene, Onomene Adene has narrated how she was deceived by the police on Saturday, November 7 before her brother was arrested.
Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Onomene disclosed that she received a call on that day from someone who asked for their home address for a delivery since her father’s church has been moved to another location.
Onomene revealed that the story changed after she met the man. She said the man demanded to be taken to his brother who he claimed “had reneged on an agreement of delivering goods he had been paid for”.
Onomene who noted that she knew “something was wrong” as her brother is just a singer and a philanthropist and not a businessmen as protrayed, said some police officers arrived in hilux vans, creating a scene in the area thereafter.
She also disclosed that after the security operatives arrived their family home, they kept on with the claim of Eromosele failing to deliver goods that has been paid for. Onomene said it was when they got to the police station that the security operatives said he was arrested in connection to the #EndSARS protest.
