A tanker carrying gas has exploded in the Iju-Ishaga of Lagos state, News Direct can report.
The explosion has reportedly destroyed vehicles, properties, and other valuables.
“A gas tanker exploded. Fire service have been called in by NEMA. People sustained burn injuries. We urge people to stay away from the area. The place is Balogun Busstop not far from Grail land”, NEMA said in an alert note to NEWS DIRECT.
Fuel tanker accidents are particularly common in Nigeria as just yesterday, almost 30 persons lost their lives in Kogi due to a tanker explosion after a ghastly accident.
